Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

This first "Flash Eurobarometer" survey on innovation reveals European business leaders' attitudes towards key factors for innovation: access to new technologies, human resources and finance, the protection and sharing of knowledge, and customers' acceptance of innovations. It sounds out managers' opinions on the likely impact of European integration on their innovation performance.

The survey was organised and managed by DG Press and Communication and carried out by EOS Gallup Europe, on behalf of DG Enterprise of the European Commission:

- Survey: April-May 2001.
- Report 1 June 2002.
It is published as 'Innovation Papers no 22', within the 'Innovation/SMEs' programme, part of the Fifth Research Framework Programme.

This publication is available in German, English and French; all 3 versions can also be downloaded from the CORDIS RTD-Document Library (record control number 1864).
