Abstract

The equation for the kinetic drift of electrons is resolved digitally in the presence of an inductive electric field for a toric plasma of a circular, poloidal section with a large aspect ratio. The impact of the accelerated electrons on the bootstrap current is calculated, and the results compared with those obtained by code, using a different calculation method.
