Papers presented at the 19th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference, Lyon, France, October 14-19 2002

Funded under: FP5-EAECTP C

Abstract

Recognising the increasingly prominent role that energy plays in the world and the expectation that nuclear fusion can provide an abundant energy source, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) supports the exchange of scientific and technical information on fusion research through conferences, meetings and projects. The 19th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference (FEC 2002) provided a forum for elaborating the excellent progress that is being made in fusion experiments, theory and technological developments. The website of the conference is at: http://www.iaea.or.at/worldatom/Meetings/2002/infcn94.shtml.

This report contains ten papers contributed to the conference by researchers at the Centre de Recherches en Physique des Plasmas, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Copies of the papers included in this report are available on the web at: http://crppwww.epfl.ch/conferences/IAEA02/
