The 21th ESReDA Seminar, organized in cooperation with Framatome ANP, was dedicated to the topic of "Lifetime Management", since operational experience and data is one of the areas of interest to the European Safety, Reliability and Data Association (ESReDA).

Seventeen high level technical contributions tackled different aspects related to ageing. Ten papers organized in three sessions dealt with aging in Nuclear Power Plants tackling respectively Aging Concepts, Aging Mechanism and Mitigation Measures and Ageing Monitoring. A session of four papers was dedicated to Ageing and Reliability Assessment Methods. Aging Management in Non-Nuclear Industry was the subject of a specific session of three papers.

The production of the proceedings was partially supported by the Major Accidents Hazards Bureau of the Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizens of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
