CERTA-TN: Consolidation of the integral system test experimental databases for reactor thermal-hydraulic safety analysis - European Thematic Network. Summary report

Project ID: FIR1-CT-2000-20052
Funded under: FP5-EAECTP C

Abstract

This report summarises the results of the CERTA Thematic Network established under Euratom Framework Programme 5 (1998-2002), Key Action: Nuclear Fission. The specific objective of CERTA was to consolidate reactor safety experimental databases acquired in European integral system test facilities in order to ensure their preservation and a user-friendly data access and retrieval capabilities using modern web-based information technologies. Besides fulfilling its intended scope, CERTA has been instrumental in the establishment of similar networks in other reactor safety research domains. The approach has also resulted in spin-off technological implementation initiatives in other reactor safety research organisations.
