Support for research and technology developments for work and business in the new global networked economy is one of the most exciting and important responsibilities of the European Commission as we enter the 21st century. The dramatic changes we see every day give us the expectation of new opportunities and a new prosperity, but with the anxiety of entering unknown territory: will this new economy give us the sustained growth and prosperity we believe is possible? What work will we do? And how will we do it in 10 years time?
This document is part of a series describing the Key Action on New Methods of Work and Electronic Commerce. It covers all projects supported following the calls for proposals 1, 2 and 3 in 1999 and 2000.
