  • Biochemical profiling by {1}H NMR: introductory review, scientific background and future perspective for bio-monitoring and exposure studies in European Union

Abstract

The report presented here is the result of the part of a pilot study concerned with the application of biochemical profiling by proton NMR spectroscopy, which recently started at the physical and Chemical Exposure Unit of the Institute for Health and Consumer Protection, JRC, Ispra, Italy. Biochemical profiling by NMR spectroscopy has been proposed as new method of bio-monitoring and exposure assessment.
