Abstract

Tokamak: toroidal machine, in which fusion reactions take place with a plasma at greater than 10{7} K confined by an intense magnetic field (-3T).
Long-term objective: plasma in good confinement state where energy supply is dominated by thermonuclear reactions and current is maintained inductively
