ASEM science and technology workshops, volume 2: Aquachallenge

Funded under: FP6

The thematic workshops are a useful way of carrying forward the SEM agenda and so the AQUACHALLENGE Workshop, funded by the EU International Cooperation Programme (INCO), is a direct outcome of that strategic plan of action. The challenge is to develop sustainable aquaculture in the new millennium in relation to the stated aims of the INCO Programme within the context of the current, social, economic and environmental situation. The workshop brought together participants from ASEM partner countries, scientists, technologists and industrialists of differing experiences, but with similar needs.
