LYRA 304-09 Irradiation experiment for Greifswald RPV materials

In the frame of the SAFELIFE activities, the irradiation behaviour of reactor pressure vessel (RPV) steels, and thermal annealing (to be eventually performed on irradiated material) efficiency and sensibility to re-irradiation damage are being investigated.
This report describes the 9th irradiation campaign using the LYRA facility. The LYRA is an irradiation rig for the Pool Side Facility (PSF) of the High Flux Reactor (HFR). The LYRA-09 experiment for Greifswald consisted on the irradiation of different steel specimens at a temperature of 270 °C and a fast fluence of ca. 4×1023 n m-2 (E>1 MeV).
