Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

Innovation Relay Centres (IRCs) advise organizations, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), on technology, innovation and transnational technology transfer. They also help them identify technology needs and suitable technologies to match these needs. They give assistance on exploitation and advice on the EU Research and Technology programmes.

Each Relay Centre is an independent office backed by funding from the European Union's Innovation and SME Programme within the European Commission, DG Enterprise, Networks and services C3 Unit. Through each centre companies and institutions have links to 68 other Relay Centres located across Europe, including the EU newly associated countries (NACs), Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Israel.

The primary goal of all Innovation Relay Centres is to achieve transnational technology transfer (TTT) by promoting innovative technologies across Europe. This gives your organization a direct link to partners and potential buyers or suppliers of the technologies that you have developed.

This document gives a list of contacts in the network of Innovation Relay Centres. Contacts at the European Commission within the Innovation programme are also available.

The list is updated on a regular basis. The latest update date can be viewed above.
