Applicants Guide to Trans-national co-operation among National Contact Points (NCPs), Call identifier PEOPLE-2007-5-4-NCP

The role of the NCPs is to act as an interface for the research community to guide the researchers through the rules and procedures of the Marie Curie Actions (MCA), as well as understanding the details and differences within the different schemes.
The proposed actions shall be aligned with the "Guiding Principles for setting up Systems of NCPs for the 7th FP1."
This call is one of a concerted set of NCP Calls. The aim of the call is to increase the level of professionalism in NCP services provided in Member States/Associated countries (MS/AC), level out regional differences in NCP service quality, disseminate best practices, improve international cooperation between NCPs and cooperation between NCPs and FP7 contact points in third countries. Purely national activities of the NCPs in their home countries will now be eligible. Any funded activities should be additional to existing NCP activities, should have a trans-national nature and represent a European added value. The single proposal per programme will be evaluated by external evaluators. If accepted the proposal can be improved during the negotiation phase.
