Mobile Service Platforms Cluster, White Paper - Service Adaptation over Heterogeneous InfrastructuresFunded under: FP6
The evolution of 3G mobile systems and the introduction of 4G in mobile and wireless communications are expected to play a central role in all aspects of mobile users' activities. In such a complex environment, the introduction of flexibility is necessary to support the proposed requirements. The realization of such a notion lies also in supporting service adaptation features. In this direction this work exploits issues related to service adaptation as addressed in the context of the Mobile Service Platform Cluster (MSP cluster) which was introduced under the FP6 framework. Various aspects related to the service adaptation are tackled including development of adaptive services, service composition, service delivery and adaptation, as well as service execution realization, as they were addressed in E2R, OPUCE, PLASTIC and SPICE projects.
