EU RTD experts' openings

This service provides details of calls for applications from experts and specialists in various aspects of EU RTD policy. You will also find information on career opportunities through research fellowships and in the European Institutions, new project partnership needs arising from competitive calls, and links to other EU, national and regional openings websites.

Framework Programme Experts

Provides information on calls addressed to individuals and to organisations, to propose lists of prospective independent experts, to assist the Commission's services for tasks in connection with the RTD framework programme

ELSA (External staff on Line Submission Application)

ELSA is a database collecting application for temporary positions within the research sector of the European Commission. The objective is to provide the services of this sector with a centralised source of candidates' profiles should vacant temporary positions arise.

EPSO (European Personnel Selection Office)

FP6 Project Competitive Calls

The EU's Sixth Framework Programme for research and development (FP6) includes new instruments for research funding: Integrated Projects (IPs) and Networks of Excellence (NoEs). During their initial negotiation with the Commission, IPs or NoEs may reserve a portion of the project budget for specific tasks to be carried out by a new contractor or contractors, who will join the consortium at a later date. New partners will be selected from proposals submitted in response to a competitive call.
