EU - Bangladesh cooperation agreement
Representatives of the European Commission and Bangladesh recently finalised the text of a cooperation agreement which is intended to develop relations between the EU and Bangladesh, and foster partnership and development initiatives. The agreement covers a range of fields including environmental cooperation, cooperation in science and technology, and information, culture and communication. The agreement will enter into force once both sides have completed their respective procedures to conclude the agreement. On the EU side, the agreement must be approved by the European Parliament before it can be formally concluded by the Council.
