Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The Orchextra Platform is created by Gigigo as a result of more than 10 years building tailor-made projects for big companies such as Hewlett Packard, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Walmart, Aeromexico, Ipiranga, etc.

These projects and services result accessible for big corporations with a high budget allocated for IT, Marketing and sales, but smaller mid-sized companies simply lack the capacity to access top nocht technology such as the set of services within the scope of Orchextra.

Another problem for small and mid-sized companies comes with integration. Such services demand an integration effort only big ones can afford, both in terms of time, staff involved, innovation capacity and, again, budget.

This is why Gigigo is creating Orchextra as a SaaS Platform fully accessible for SMEs both in terms of time and, mainly, budget. It could be said that Orchextra represents a paradigm in terms of “democratization of technology”, making cutting edge technologies accessible for all sorts of companies regardless of their size and innovation capacity.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

The project as performed the following works so far, all in accordance with the Project Plan:
• Development and deployment of infrastructure architecture on AWS.
• Development of Dashboard both in frontend and backend.
• Building of analytics and learning components.
• Development of native SDKs for iOS & Android.
• Development of a research / management native mobile app both for iOS & Android to run demos and tests on the field.
• Identification and creation of an Alpha and Beta testing groups.
• Creation of marketing and sales materials for Orchetxra.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

Orchextra has achieved its original goals during the first 7 months of the project, resulting in the creation of an Beta version MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to work as starting point for the second phase of the project (testing) and leading to the final “ready to market” version.
The expectations around Orchextra are resulting very high, with a high level of acceptance among the beta testers, which are enthusiastic and very interested in taking the best out of the platform.
