Project ID: 718784
Financé au titre de: H2020-EU.2.3.1. , H2020-EU.3.2.

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - RAD (A study for the technical and business feasibility of a fast-acting consumer test to detect gluten and other contaminants in food.)

Reporting period: 2016-02-01 à 2016-05-31

Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The project was to define an MVP and a path to the market for it. This included devising a scale-up plan and a product development plan, financial projections, and the elaboration of a business plan and IP strategy.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

"The path to market was built up including the addition of the concept of "tribal" marketing, community building, technical tasks needed to reach the market, and 5-year financial projections."

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

There are currently no real-time consumer allergen testing devices or kits operating in the market, making RAD the first mover in Europe, and Allogen intends to be the first to scale their product.
