Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

Friendkhana is a marketing tool for ecommerce that allows brand to know their customers better through Quizzes. We have developed a SaaS platform where our clients can easily create key questions about their business our products and integrate that Quiz in their website effortlessly. Friendkhana provides an innovative SaaS solution to make short, intuitive quizzes that can be integrated with a single line of code in our client´s on line stores.
Friendkhana’s quizzes are like mini surveys, but much more attractive and easy to answer- with a demonstrated conversion rate of 3 times higher than most popular surveys solutions (surveymonkey, surveypal, etc.). Friendkhana generate real-time information about the users, - enhanced seamless with their social network data - to enrich user profiles to cluster a new data base, while they are having a more personalized experience. Friendkhana offers a SMEs e-commerce with a competitive customizable solution that provides a richer database of their users to make better ROI-directed marketing campaigns while they benefit for better recommendations and a better customer experience.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

During the last six months, we have developed new features aimed to connect our solution to the ecommerce platform used by our clients in order to establish a bidirectional communication between CRMs. Now we are able to read the catalog of our clients and provide automatically questions to create the quiz based on product tags. Also, we have improved the design and the creation process to provide a more satisfactory experience to our users.
We have started to use Machine Learning Techniques to classify the client´s data base, so now getting clusters and create personalized campaigns is easier.
In addition of those improvements we have created plugins for the most popular ecommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Prestashop and WooCommerce) to open new sales channels. This fact also has given us the chance to make a better adaption of our tool, keeping in mind the different specifics of each platform. These plugins add scalability to the project and gross margin has increased as well.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

Having said that, we will focus on improving the features of these plugins due the business potential in order to became the most popular Quizzes provider for ecommerce.
