Exploitable results
An enhanced transborder multilingual animal tracking system (bovine & porcine) will be developed.
A telematics based tracking system for farm cattle and pigs will be made commercially available. The system will define the attributes which would form the basis of a recommended European Union standard database. Users are: all public authorities, businesses, veterinarians and farmers involved in moving cattle (EUROVET) and pigs (EUROVET II) in Europe, and all exporters of cattle and pigs in the European Union.
