Small-Scale Chp Plant Based on a Hermetic Four-Cylinder Stirling Engine for Biomass Fuels

Deliverables

The 75 kW-el Stirling engine, which has been developed as part of the project, can off course be marketed as a part of the CHP-plant, which is the main result of the project. However, the new Stirling engine can also be sold as a sub-supply to manufactures of biomass combustion systems in e.g. Scandinavia. In the future, the new Stirling engine can also find its application outside EU, where there is a need for electric power production based on local bio-fuels. As a consequence of the result defined above, a new Danish company is now formed in co-operation with DTU-Innovation. This company is going to manufacture the Stirling engine in Co-operation with the participants Mawera and I.B. Bruun. Other sub-suppliers in Austria, Denmark and other EU-member states will also be involved.
