The Armada - dataset used in modelling a multiple carrier units

The 'Armada' dataset, provided by BG, covers a 10x6km area of the Central North Sea Block 22/5B and includes the Seymour, Drake and Hawkins Fields. The Armada area has reservoirs at Triassic, Jurassic and Palaeocene levels and has provided an excellent dataset with which to test hydrocarbon migration models of multiple carrier systems.

The dataset comprises a 3D seismic volume, interpretation of 3 reservoir horizons, source and other key surfaces over the study area, fault polygon interpretation on each surface, regional Jurassic depth map and regional source grids, 12 released wells, geological and stratigraphic model for the area and geochemical/PVT data from Hawkins, Drake and Seymour fields.

Results of migration modelling on the dataset have the potential to contribute to planning future wells in this area.
