Characterisation of surfaces using the contact angle measurement method

Project RTD partners MIC/DTU Lyngby as well as IMSAS, University Bremen are in the position to offer surface characterisation services using dedicated contact angle measurement tools acquired in the course of the HYDROsurf project.

Measurement of the contact angles of liquid droplets applied on a variety of wafer-shaped substrates types (e.g. silicon, saphire, quartz, silica, pyrex) can be done with good accuracy of 0.1°

The service can also be offered in combination with a previous surface treatment at the institutes, such as a hydropilisation or a SAM hydrophobisation of the sample surface.
