Documents needed to apply for FP6 funding
Information package
The Commission issues a special information package for each
call for proposals, which is available on-line on the page of the relevant call
on CORDIS. The information package includes all background documents and forms
needed to prepare a project proposal. Typically, this comprises:
- the official text of the call
- the relevant section of the current work programme
- general sections of the work programme, setting out common considerations and evaluation criteria
- an overview of FP6
- a call-specific Guide for Proposers, containing detailed information and advice for potential applicants
- general proposal evaluation and selection guidelines
- call-specific proposal evaluation and selection guidelines
- model contracts
Guide for proposers
Included in the information package for each call for
proposals, the Guide for Proposers contains technical information for potential
applicants, normally comprising:
- requirements for the composition of the project consortium
- requirements for thestructure of the proposal
- advice on how to prepare and submit the proposal
- a checklist for the entire proposal preparation and submission process
- details of the evaluation and contract negotiation processes
- information on sources of support

The Science and Society helpdesk has received
