Scotland is a large region, forming one third of the land mass of the UK, and has well-developed academic and administrative networks. As a result there are organisations involved in R&D, technology transfer and innovation operating at a number of levels - UK-wide, Scottish and local.

Here we provide links to the main Scottish organisations rather than the UK organisations operating in Scotland. In order to ensure access to as many relevant organisations as possible we have also provided links to those sites possessing good links to other relevant bodies.
