10th Conference on Colloid Chemistry, Budapest, Hungary

The 10th Conference on Colloid Chemistry will take place from 29 to 31 August 2012 in Budapest, Hungary.
Colloid science is an interdisciplinary body of knowledge combining elements of chemistry, physics, nanoscience and other fields. It is dedicated to the study of colloids, heterogeneous systems made of particles dispersed in a continuous medium whose size ranges from 1 nm to 1000 nm. These particles a important role in the production of novel material systems as they offer attractive functional properties to a wide range of products such as drug delivery systems, coatings and cosmetics.
The event will discuss colloids from a scientific and industrial point of view with a focus on innovative systems for sustainable development. Attending experts from academy and industry will share views and knowledge on recent progress in this field.
