Quality validation date:2012-05-25
Abstract
During the SIFT project two experienced behavioural scientists investigated the role of social intelligence for creating trust and privacy in tele-healthcare applications. The project aimed at:
1. creating design guidelines for bringing the concept of social intelligence into interactive systems with the purpose to create user trust and acceptance
2. developing a standardised instrument for assessing social intelligence in interactive systems.
Based on extensive ethnographic studies, i.e. on long term studies conducted in two continents, the guidelines for designing social intelligent systems for tele-healthcare applications were identified.
