Abstract
The goal of the project was to enhance the capacity and research potential of INCDIE ICPE - CA in the field of renewable energy, by developing its existing research centre for hydrogen and fuel cells. The project focussed on the development of expertise and knowledge in the field of materials, hydrogen storage, fuel cell characterisation, performance optimisation, testing and improvement of fuel cell components and systems. The project brought added value to the development of related renewable energy technologies. The project will facilitated collaboration at national and international level and with the public and private sector as well as with other laboratories to commercialise these technologies.
