Call for proposals for Marie Curie Initial Training Networks (ITN)
Date:2012-08-09
The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled "Marie Curie Initial Training Networks (ITN)". The document is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The call is part of the People Work Programme which is hoped to make Europe more attractive for researchers. It focuses on early-stage researchers in the public and private sector and aims to improve their career perspectives thanks to a transnational networking mechanism. EU funding will be granted to selected networks of organisations from different countries engaged in research training. Three types of networks have been identified as strategic by the European Commission: multi-partner ITNs, European Industrial Doctorates (EID) and Innovative Doctoral Programmes (IDP).
