Vor diesem Hintergrund stellten die Mitglieder des MIRPHAB-Projekts einen Chemikaliensensor vor, der für diesen und weitere Zwecke infrage kommt und Sprengstoffe sowie Rauschgifte auf eine Entfernung von 30 m nachweisen kann.

Novel chemical sensor six-times faster than alternatives
Tragic events such as the recent Brussels Airport bombing have enlightened the need for stronger security measures and improved technologies. This is one of the applications the MIRPHAB project team had in mind, as they unveiled a chemical sensor capable of detecting the likes of drugs and explosives from a distance of 30m.

Un sensor químico novedoso seis veces más rápido que los sistemas alternativos
Acontecimientos tan trágicos como los atentados con bombas ocurridos recientemente en el aeropuerto de Bruselas han puesto de relieve la necesidad de reforzar las medidas de seguridad y disponer de tecnologías más eficaces. Esta es una de las aplicaciones que tiene en mente el equipo del proyecto MIRPHAB, que ha presentado un sensor químico capaz de detectar sustancias como drogas y explosivos a una distancia de treinta metros.

Un nouveau détecteur chimique, 6 fois plus rapide que les autres
Des évènements tragiques comme les bombes à l'aéroport de Bruxelles ont souligné la nécessité de renforcer les mesures de sécurité et de disposer de meilleures solutions techniques. C'est l'une des utilisations envisagées par l'équipe du projet MIRPHAB pour son capteur chimique, capable de détecter les drogues et les explosifs à 30 mètres.
