Barcelona, 4-7 February, 1998

The Telematics Applications Programme is organizing a conference and exhibition featuring the results and achievements of European research in telematics applications over the past ten years. Future perspectives in the area of telematics research will also be addressed in the context of the Fifth RTD Framework Programme.

The four-day event is of key importance to programme participants, users of new applications and decision-makers. An exhibition, which will be opened by Commissioner Martin Bangemann on 5 February, will offer visitors the opportunity to view the projects highlighted during the conference, as well as demonstrations and displays of other major projects conducted under the Telematics Applications Programme.
