The organizer of the event has received funds from the TMR programme, enabling him to pay in particular for the participation of young researchers.
Interested individuals who wish to benefit from such support have to satisfy the following requirements:

Researchers must be aged 35 years or less at the time of the event. Researchers above this age limit can only benefit if they participate as speakers or teaching staff.

Researchers must be doctoral students or holders of a doctoral degree or equivalent qualification.

Researchers must be nationals of a Community Member State or a State associated with the Programme (Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway). Certain organizers do however dispose of additional funding from the "International Scientific Cooperation" Programme, to pay for the participation of scientists from Central and Eastern Europe.
Organizers are expected to not allow one single nationality to represent more than one third of conference participants.

Candidates fulfilling the above mentioned requirements can expect support as follows:

• Young researchers may be supported on a full cost basis (i.e. travel, subsistence and conference fees up to 100%). Organizers may however decide to provide support on a lump sum basis.
• Speakers and teaching staff are entitled to receive TMR support up to a maximum of 50% of their expenses.
