Objectives of research
Main objectives:
The technical issues of the project are: ° The definition of the assessment framework and criteria for safety architectures used in the guided public transport industry; ° The development of a certification scheme for safety architectures, particularly in the following fields: * numerical assurance approach (coding), * implementation details of check redundant computer systems, * distributed architectures.
Secondary objective:
The results of the project (safety assessment criteria and certification scheme) will be adopted in the phase of the Validation of ERTMS.
