Main objectives:

1. Gain a thorough understanding of the existing safety procedures and methodologies currently employed by Members States 2. Gain an appreciation of whether systems employed by other transport modes could be employed in the marime sector 3. Implement a common accident reporting methodology agreeable to all member states 4. Develop a marine version of CHIRP 5. Identify remedial tools
