Objectives of research
Main objectives:
The objectives of GORAC are to consider the requirements for a ground collision avoidance system (GCAS) that need to be satisfied in terms of airworthiness and propose an acceptable means of certification with particular emphasis on the utilisation of a terrain database, predictive algorithms and the introduction of new Man Machine Interface (MMI).
