The role of technology transfer projects in the innovation process
The final edition of the proceedings of an international conference on "The role of technology transfer projects in the innovation process" has recently been published. The conference, held in February 1995, was sponsored and organized by the European Commission (DG XIII) within the framework of the Community's specific programme for the dissemination and exploitation of the RTD results (INNOVATION).
The conference, attended by over 500 people from across Europe, was intended to provide important input to the Commission's Green Paper on Innovation, subsequently published in December 1995. Discussions at the conference covered many aspects of technology transfer and examined both Community and national programmes in this area.
