Medibtikar releases the « Entrepreneurs’ Manual for Innovative Projects », A Guide throughout MEDA Countries

Cairo, 29 Oct. 2009- Head Office; The Medibtikar Programme is glad to release its « Entrepreneurs’ Manual for Innovative Projects », A Guide throughout MEDA Countries.

The « Entrepreneurs’ Manual for Innovative Projects », A Guide throughout MEDA Countries is a step?by?step guide primarily drafted for entrepreneurs starting an innovative project. It presents, in a logical approach, the main issues of developing, marketing and getting finance to transform an innovation into a successful business. The basic concepts are presented through an educational approach allowing self?learning and practicing the tools, methods and advice which are presented in an operational way. The basic concepts to master an innovative project presented in this manual are followed by checklists, worksheets, exhibits and examples inspired from the real business world. This manual is for entrepreneurs, for project holders with innovative ideas, who are currently involved in the process of starting their own innovative business and want to get things done in the right way and as efficiently as possible. This material could also help consultants, coaches, trainers and incubators’ managers in their outreach activities to help start?ups and new entrepreneurs. By going through the different chapters of the manual, the reader will get familiar with the different processes of innovative projects and entrepreneurial activity which correspond to: • Management of innovation and entrepreneurship. • Risk assessment and management for innovative projects. • Innovation strategy and marketing. • Business value and financing. • Investor relation and business presentation. • Negotiation with partners and investors. This manual is intended to be a dynamic, evolving document, benefiting from contributions provided by its readers and users, particularly those working and acting in the MEDA Countries. These contributions may for instance take the form of local examples, or be intended to clarify a concept or an approach, or to further complete the document’s contents, or any other form of enriching the manual and sharing knowledge and experiences. Medibtikar programme will release two more guides, in the near future, about the Incubators and Technoparks. It runs for three years and has a budget of €7.3 million and will disseminate innovative practices by developing exchanges between planners,policy makers and stakeholders in the MEDA region and build and strengthen relationships with European public and private partners through the establishment of strong and active networks.
