Commission asks for help in stopping organised environmental crime
The European Commission's Environment DG has announced a call for tenders for a study on organised crime in the sphere of the environment. The aim of the study, which is to cover the 15 Member States of the EU, is to provide the Commission with factual and legal information on organised environmental crime, and to assist in generating proposals for initiatives to counter this form of criminal activity.
