The European Commission, DG XXII, has published a post-information notice relating to a public services contract concerning actions to promote the exchange of information and experience (action 3 (points 1 and 2) of Chapter III) within the Community Action Programme in the field of education, SOCRATES. The action to be undertaken is twofold: - Coordination and stimulation of Eurydice network activities; - Tracking of developments, trends and needs in educational systems in the European Union (gathering of data, development of leading indicators, provision of research services in matters of interest to the Community). A total of five tenders were received. The contract was awarded, on 27 June 1995, to: Fondation europeenne de la culture 51 rue de la Concorde B-1050 Brussels The amount awarded for the contract was ECU 11,863,695.
