The European Commission, DG XVII, has published a call for tender for the provision of advisory services to assist in the coordination and technical follow-up of contracts under the Non-nuclear Energy RTD programme (JOULE-THERMIE), in the field of the rational use of energy. This call for tender is divided into seven lots, as follows: - Rational use of energy in buildings including the integration of renewable energy sources; - Targeted projects in the construction industry; - Rational use of energy in high energy consumption industries including the management of resources and waste; - Rational use of energy in lower energy consumption industries including the management of resources and waste; - Energy industry and fuel cells; - Rational use of energy in transport and urban infrastructure; - Targeted projects in the transport sector. Tenderers may submit tenders for more than one of the lots above, however each lot must be the subject of a separate tender, and all tenders must cover the entire lot to which they relate. Contracts will last for 18 months.
