The Statistical Office of the European Commission (EUROSTAT) has published an invitation to tender for work relating to the Framework Programme for Priority Actions in the field of Statistical Information. The subjects to be covered by the work include sectoral programmes for the operation of the Single Market and sectoral programmes for industrial, transport, energy, research and development and tourism policies.

The contract is divided into 11 lots:

- Business statistics: Company relations;
- Business statistics: Preparation of statistics for the AIDA database;
- Business statistics: Development of a system of HTML-compatible reports for the AIDA database;
- Business statistics: Production of publications on industrial statistics;
- Business statistics: Analysis of chronological series of short-term industrial statistics;
- Business statistics: Follow-up of short-term industrial statistical methods;
- Business statistics: Companies in Europe (sixth report);
- Business statistics: Sectoral data for the analysis of economic development in regions eligible for EU Structural Funds support;
- Business statistics: Maintenance and development of Prodcom statistics;
- Statistics for the steel industry: Production and dissemination of statistics for the steel industry;
- Statistics for the steel industry: Analysis of steel statistics.

Tenders may be submitted for one, several or all lots. The work should be completed within 36 months.
