The European Communities' Statistical Office, EUROSTAT, has published an invitation to tender concerning the provision of statistical services in the fields of maritime and air transport.

Within the framework programme for priority actions in the field of statistical information (1998-2002), EUROSTAT is looking for contractors to undertake work in the following three lots:

- Lot 1: Implementation of the Directive on maritime transport statistics, information dissemination system;
- Lot 2: Implementation of the Directive on maritime transport statistics, methodology, pilot studies;
- Lot 3: Information system for air transport statistics.

Companies may tender for one, two or all three lots. The work should be completed within 12 months.
