In order to produce a common methodology to allow assessment of the direct and indirect results and impacts of completed projects of the Telematics Applications programme, the European Commission, DG XIII, has issued an invitation to tender. The objective is to undertake a socio-economic and industrial assessment of the one hundred completed projects funded under the Telematics Applications programme during the Fourth RTD Framework Programme. The application areas to be covered will include transport, health, and the disabled and elderly, with a view to highlighting the main results and successes of the projects and making recommendations for the future.
