The European Commission, DG XVI, has published an invitation to tender for an evaluation study of the EUROPARTENARIAT programme which aims to stimulate and promote cooperation agreements between enterprises in less developed or declining industrial regions and enterprises in other Member States. The study should assess to what extent the programme contributed to the objectives being sought both by company policy and the EU's regional policy. In addition, the study should propose methods for improving the EUROPARTENARIAT formula, including the provision of support after meetings in aid of participating companies. A system of quality control for the programme, comprising standard methodology for evaluating meetings should also be included.
