The CORDIS Web site is constantly being updated on changes that are being made to the various EU research programmes' homepages or other relevant research information sites. To keep the interested user informed about these changes, CORDIS "What's new?" is there to help.

The service is easy to use, just open the CORDIS homepage, click on the small "What's new" icon and a list of pages that have changed comes up. These changes can refer to anything from reports having been published to new Web sites or information on upcoming events.

For example, last week the homepage of European Technology Assessment Network was updated when a new report on Internationalisation of Research and Technology was published on the site. Or, a new on-line directory of R&D units in Catalonia on the Internet was published on Catalonia's Web site on 10 December 1998.

The Fifth Framework Focus homepage has presented several updates over the last week. Details of the Information Society Technologies Programme were published on 8 December 1998. The latest update was made on the 15 December, the same day the European Parliament approved the Fifth Framework Programme.
