"Exploit Interactive" will be launched in March 1999 as a web magazine for the European library and information professionals.

As part of the Telematics for Libraries EXPLOIT project (a supporting measure in the Telematics for Libraries programme), "Exploit Interactive" aims to disseminate the results of over 100 projects. It will promote awareness and exploit transferable project deliverables, along with supporting articles from the broader Library community.

The magazine will serve as a meeting place for all interested parties, including project holders, users and potential users of project deliverables and commercial organisations sub-contracted within the European library community. It will also be interactive, making use a variety of new technologies (like the Java Crossword Puzzle and demonstrations within articles). "Exploit Interactive" will seek to obtain input and feedback using electronic and traditional means to ensure that it evolves to meet the needs of the Telematics for Libraries community.

The magazine will be released in early March and will be available at:

"Exploit Interactive" editors, Bernadette Daly and Philip Hunter, are looking to deliver a quality publication by soliciting articles from the library and information networking communities and by setting up mailing lists for "Friends of Exploit Interactive". This could include:

- Regular columnists;
- Occasional contributors;
- People who can commission articles and news items (in their organisation, group or country);
- People who can help publicise the magazine's availabilty;
- People able to provide suggestions for future editions, comments on the service, and so on.
