The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for expressions of interest for research, development, computer, advertising and related services.

The JRC will establish a list of potential contractorsas a result of this call. Each time a specific contract is to be concluded relating to any of the fields described below, the department concerned will invite relevant candidates on the list to bid for the contract concerned.

This call for expressions of interest cover the following fields:

- Work in relation to the synergetic use of earth observation, satellite navigation and satellite communication services, including:
- - Market studies;
- - Requirements analysis;
- - Feasibility studies;
- - Technology reviews;
- Support to demonstration studies in relation to the synergetic use of earth observation, satellite navigation and satellite communication facilities, including:
- - Architectural and system design;
- - Detail design and development;
- - System integration and test;
- - System operation and evaluation;
- Support in WWW-based development;
- Preparation of publication and promotional material.
