The European Commission, DG XVI (Regional policies and cohesion), has recently published two advance notices for invitations to tender for technical assistance in the field of the environment, and in the field of transport infrastructures. The Commission expects to publish these tenders in July 1999. It intends to spend up to two million euro - for each call - on contracts for architectural services, engineering and integrated engineering services, urban planning and landscape architectural services, services related to scientific and technical consultancy, technical testing and analysis services.
