As part of the process of implementing the European employment strategy, the European Commission is required to report annually on employment trends and indicators. This includes the production of an annual report on employment in Europe, devoted to analysing employment issues in the European Union and providing background analysis for the Commission's contribution to the annual discussions on employment. The Commission has therefore now announced a call for tenders for research and development work to produce this report.
