The European Commission's Agriculture Directorate-General is calling for expressions of interest from candidates wishing to be included on a list of experts to take part in studies and work in the forestry sector. The Commission will send any calls for tender or requests for future work in the forestry sector to the names included on this list, where the value of the contracts available is below the thresholds set out in European law for public contracts. The notice covers the following types of work related to forestry: - Technical assistance; - Provision of services; - Studies, advice and expertise. It covers a number of fields, including, for example, the effects of atmospheric pollution in forest ecosystems and sustainable forest management.
