The European Agency for Safety and Health at work has launched an on-line magazine that concentrates on a different theme in each edition. It aims to present the views of all sides: workers, employers and academics, as well as national, European and international representatives and experts. The magazine intends to act as a new forum for discussions on issues of major importance to health and safety at work in the EU - stimulating debate and highlighting both differences and common ground. The first issue: 'Occupational Safety and Health: a question of cost and benefits?' is now available. It includes case studies from a number of EU Member States: 'Contributors come from across the European Union and from very different backgrounds. They include economic specialists, trade unionists and industry representatives as well as decision-makers at both national and European levels and the United States' says the Agency.
